First in the Fight is a book documenting the 20 other mancunian women who were considered for a statue. Commissioned by Jane Bowyer of Women in Print I drew Kathleen Ollenrenshaw for the book which is available online and in selected shops. Inspired by her life the illustration draws upon her love of astronomy and math.
